In this project, I transformed dance videos into visual scenes inspired by nature using text-guided generative AI. By breaking down the videos into frames, I applied style transfer with the Disco Diffusion model to each frame based on nature-related prompts like "waves of the ocean" and "branches of trees." The stylized frames were then stacked together to recreate the videos, ensuring consistency by using the same generation seed for all frames.
This project blends dance with digital art and explores how interactive installations create a sense of kinship with nature and raise awareness about the Anthropocene. Moving forward, I plan to use faster generative systems to enable real-time interactions and creations.
